Before concluding my mother’s final Memorial Service, we presented the 2017 Anna B. Moore Divine Purpose Scholarship to Ms. Trinity Faith Elliott from Camden Fairview High School in Camden, Arkansas. This is the second year we’ve presented the scholarship since the founding of The Divine Purpose Initiative in August of 2015.
I had planned to have the second recipient be from my hometown, but little did I know we would be celebrating my mother’s life at that time. That said, I can’t think of a better way to honor my mother’s gifts to us than to give and help this young lady pursue her academic goals. God’s timing is often profound.
We at Design Principles and The Initiative pray that her every success has a Divine Purpose. May God’s Peace be with her – and all recipients – at all times.
