Many social issues can be successfully addressed through thoughtful design and planning interventions. Partnerships between designers/architects and community-based organizations are mutually beneficial, building the knowledge and experience of both to better serve others. The [bc] Workshop invites community groups/organizations to submit design project proposals to be matched with local design professionals and services (small stipend received for services rendered).

DPI provided design services to a local family planning to build in The Bottoms area just south of Downtown Dallas.  We participated in group design charrettes  at the [bc] Workshop with other invited designers and families.

We would like to sincerely thank the [bc] Workshop for the opportunity to serve the community in this capacity and look forward to when DPI is able to contribute again.
